At the Indians game

Tyler had his first baseball game on April 25th. The Indians vs. Yankees. He did pretty good. He got scared when the fans cheered. Must have been to loud for him. We left in the 7th inning- it was way past his bedtime. Also, he was teething that day, so I thought he did very well. His two bottom teeth are now through the skin. Its hard to believe that his is old enough to have them. We are on the 2nd foods now. He loves apple and vanilla with whole grain! He also holds his own bottle from time to time and drinks from a sippy cup! He is growing up too fast!!!

Tyler is 5 months old

Believe it or not... Tyler is 5 months old. He is cutting his first tooth right now. It hasn't came out yet! He does very well with teething- only one bad day. Thank goodness he handles the pain well. The pictures above are of Tyler outgrowing his swing and finding his feet, swimming with his daddy & at the zoo with Kelly and Ashton. Ashton is the little boy in the last picture. Tyler will be starting Day Care in the middle of May. Hard for his mommy but he loves playing with kids. Well Gotta Go!

tyler sleeping finally without a swing!

well our day started out at the library. tyler sat the whole 30 min. by himself and then we headed to gymnastics class. Today worked on our shoulder muscles. We did flips on a doughnut ( which is a mat really) and we played peek a boo while he stood by himself holding on to a mat. of course he fell down but we were on a blow up mat.

Tony & Tyler

Well, this was it... my last full weekend before I start working every weekend (unless I change my mind). We went to the rain forest (wow was the zoo packed with families). Tyler had a good time. He liked to watch the fish swim around. He also ate lunch in a high chair. Wow he is getting so big but still doesn't fit the greatest in the chair. We had a great weekend though, Tyler didn't cry until we got home from being tired and my brother Joel visited us for the weekend before heading back to school. It was great to see him since I haven't seen him in about 2 months. He may be getting a internship for the summer in Independence so we may see him more often in the summer. Tyler is laughing so much now. He is sooo ticklish. Well off to bed for me.

Tyler & Tony in swim class

Tyler and Tony started swim class today and once again Tyler loved his class. We thought he wouldn't mind swimming since he loves getting a bath so much. They did circles in the water, kicked a ball, floated on a tube, played with a rubber ducky so he would learn how to reach in water & played hookie pookie. By the end of the class, Tyler was kicking his feet in the water. His class is rather large (the biggest broadview heights has had) and it was a surprise how many fathers took their babies swimming. Tyler was the youngest one in class since we missed the spot when he was 6 months old. It was full by the time I got there. Tony seemed to really enjoy himself also!! I am glad Tony enjoyed it because this gives them the chance to do a class together.

Tyler's 4 month appointment

Well, Tyler had his 4 month appointment today. He weighs 16 lbs. and 26.5 inches in height. His head is also growing. He is now in the 43 % for that. I asked the doctor if Ty was overweight and she said absolutely not. He is perfect! Tyler rolled over and sat up for the Dr. Vargo. She couldn't believe he sits up already. She is guessing that he will be an early walker!! I guess we will have to wait and see. She also asked if Tony and I were athletes and I said Yeah, why? She said "cause you are going to have another one in the family". Yeah, we love sports in this house. Hopefully, Tyler will like them too!! He did get started on another medication along with his pepcid for his acid reflux. So, we will have to wait to see how that goes! Well, gotta get Tyler ready to stay with grandma!
